Hello Our school is located in a quiet and green district of Rybnik - Kamień. In the 2019/2020 school year, 312 students study in 15 branches. The Pedagogical Council consists of 40 teachers who have full professional qualifications and constantly expand their knowledge and skills. There is a modern sports infrastructure around the school: playground, school playground, outdoor gym and work out under construction. In addition to the implementation of compulsory educational classes, our school also hosts classes of interest (art, technical, music, theater), corrective and compensatory, sociotherapeutic and speech therapy classes. My name is David Rojo Fernández, from Spain. I have worked as a coordinator or partner in several Erasmus+ projects, most of them Strategic Partnership: Rurality, Bioenergy, All-Tourist, NWF-Network, Rural Skills, Agro-Basic Skills, Geotur, Living Heritage, etc.. Hello, My name is Dimitris Katsavos and I'm from Greece. I am the Principal of the Kouloura Elementary School and head of an extremely dynamic, productive and effective teacher educational team. 60% of our students are Roma, 15% are of Albanian origin, children of immigrant background and the rest come mainly from rural families, all of which have been deeply affected by the economic crisis. We are a school that has been exploiting the Erasmus + Programs for eight years now as a tool for inclusion, reducing school leakage, combating teacher burnout and opening the school to society through its initiatives, actions, interventions and alternative pedagogical implementations (theatrical education, arts, sports, recreational reading and creative writing, environmental education …). The results of our “Erasmus + projects” have been recognized by our official National Agency and we are therefore often invited to present our work at various conferences and workshops with Greek and European audiences as an example of good practices. It has students aged 3-19, hosting a VET agricultural institute. Good morning from Katerini, Greece. My name is Katerina Papakosta and I am a computer science teacher at the 5th General High School in Katerini. Our city is located very close to Dion, Pydna, and Platamonas. Our region is also the homeland of Orpheus and the Muses. Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece and seat of the Greek gods, rises south of Katerini. The Pieria Mountains are located to the west. Our wider area presents remarkable tourist development, which focuses on the extensive coastal zone, where there are beautiful resorts, its archeological sites and the accesses of Olympus, offering amazing options for tourism. Our school has 300 students, aged 15-18, of various socio-economic levels. Our school has previous experience in eTwinning-bridges, but no experience in Erasmus +. We carry out programs on sustainable development, environmental protection, recycling, social entrepreneurship. We have participations in financial competitions and distinctions in the Economic Olympiad. We carry out programs to combat financial illiteracy with great participation from our students and every year our students win a scholarship for the summer school of entrepreneurship of the Athens University of Economics and Business. We would be interested in a project on the sustainability, the economy and the comparison of living standards of students from different European countries and especially countries belonging to the European Union, but not to the Eurosystem, so that they can discuss and exchange views in order to understand how economy affects society and politics respectively. We can work with schools with students of similar age to our own students, on issues related to what has been mentioned above. Hello! I am Maria Peña, one of the teachers responsible for Erasmus+ Projects at IES SORTS DE LA MAR Secondary School in Dénia, Alicante, Spain. We are on the Mediterranean coast and we want to carry out a project on ECOLOGY and SUSTAINABILITY, specifically THE PROTECTION OF MARINE ECOSYSTEMS.
