Objectives:
– to develop ICT competences about applying technology in different educational settings in order to improve the motivation of the students
– to share best practices and transfer knowledge and methods between different cultural zones (at least 3 countries) and different learner ages
– to develop tools (a digital game, an E-portfolio, digital stories) about ways of applying technology in education for different age groups
– to enable participants to find at least 5 activities and techniques for their own teaching context in order to improve the motivation of their students
– to increase participants’ confidence in using web 2.0 social media tools
– to promote European cooperation in the field of education within the framework of the Erasmus+ program by partnership building
COURSE FEE: 630 Eur ( 9 training days) or 490 Eur ( 7 training days) or 350 Eur( 5 training days)

Using ICT to engage students in the modern classroom ”is a course of the association Edu2grow, Portugal, which teaches participants to use modern, non-formal and digital methods to improve students' motivation, to transfer best practices and knowledge between different areas. school / cultural, to apply technology in education. Cooperation and finding new contacts for partnerships was also one of the objectives of this course. The objectives of this course correspond to the objectives of our project "Modern, non-formal and digital methods for lifelong learning". We had 6 days of activities structured on modules. Module 1: Culture and interculturalityIntercultural games. Working in an international project - how to communicate and. Module 2: I practiced digital tools extensions from Google Drive, Adobe Spark, Storyjumper, Wordle, Tagxedo, Tagul, Padlet. Module 3: Audio and video, Filmora Go, Fotovoice, Stories digital. I practiced and created presentation videos, collaborating with the other participants. Module 4: Blogs, websites and webquests. Blogs, websites, web searches: uses and learning potential. Module 5 Digital methodology. Study visit to a local institution that implements European projects. Dissemination of previous European projects carried out by all partners, use of the E-Twinning platform. Module 6: Consisted of activities to evaluate and evaluate learning outcomes, presentation of products made during the course, sharing own experience. The activity was certified by a ceremony of handing over the Europass Mobility certificate, updating the Europass language passport and the Europass Skills passport. It was a unique and beautiful experience, in which we learned new methods of activating students, through informal activities, adaptation of teaching through the use of innovative digital tools.

The course was organised very professional The atmosphere betwen the participants and the trainers was pleasant The content was close to real life concern and it highlighted the importance of practice learning, of tolerance and the intercultural exchanges The trainers were very friendly and they were available to learn us. Their experience was obvious in the way they organised and presented the activities. Overall the course is going to be very useful in my day to day job in my relationship with the students
