Course Description
In this training course participants will learn strategies that aim at turning passive students into active learners in nowadays’ world.
Innovative student-centred teaching methodologies will be discovered by participants, who will explore how to find a balance between teacher supportiveness and learner autonomy. In student-centred approaches learners face practical tasks independently, developing self-discipline, self-knowledge, self-esteem as well as key competences and transversal skills.
In this course, participants will also get involved in hands-on activities to experience how technology and creative methods can support students in strengthening their own skills and, most of all, motivation. Participants will also be provided with ideas to evaluate complex tasks and key competences.
By the end of the course, participants will feel inspired and ready to apply new strategies to boost high-order skills in their students, as well as to guide them in developing their own opinions and creativity in applying newly acquired knowledge.

I enjoyed the course about the 21st century education. The innovative teaching methods which were applied were very useful and helpful to me. Also, the learning process and the implementation, presentation and discussion of practical tasks were very interesting.
