Course Description
This course is for teachers working in multicultural classes. Diversity challenges traditional teaching strategies and asks for innovative solutions. This introductory course will address issues such as: how is it possible to create a syllabus suitable both for native and for non-native students? How can educators face language and communication difficulties? How can students interact in a productive way regardless of their cultural belonging?
Through case discussion, sharing of good practices, and engaging activities, participants will explore intercultural educational practices. They will receive prompts to foster communication in their classes and will explore solutions to plan activities aiming at meeting newcomers’ needs without interrupting the regular didactic flow. Teaching strategies with concrete, across-the-board objectives will be presented (role-playing, cooperative learning, and many others).
By the end of the course, participants will have gained broader awareness about different learning approaches, intercultural communication, innovative methods, and how to convert diversity from burden to opportunity.

Nagyon sokoldalú volt a képzés, sok hasznos dolgot tanultam, amit a tanítási tevékenységeimben felhasználhatom. A kurzusvezető nagyon flexibilis volt, minden kérdésünkre próbált magyarázatot adni, nagyon jó előadó, segítőkész.

Jól megszervezett alapos felkészülés volt a kurzuszervező részéről. A kurzus egy nagyon aktív részvételt igényelt, érdekes dolgokkal lettem gazdagabb. Jó volt megismerni más országokból embereket és velük együtt dolgozni csoportban. a kurzus rávilágítást nyújtott, hogy bár mindegyikünk más személyiség, mégis vannak bennünk közös dolgok. Rávilágitást kaptam, hogy nem csak egy közösség érdekeit kell nézni, hanem minden egyes embert, a saját egyéni fejlődését. Innen kell elindulni, felkarolni, tovább vinni.

Nagyon elégedett voltam a kurzuson tapasztaltakkal, hiszen egy nagyszerű tanárunk volt, aki rengeteg tapasztalattal rendelkezett és nagyon sok mindent tudott ebből átadni. A kurzus ideje alatt tapasztalt tanítási módszerek nagyon változatosak és érdekesek voltak, a már ismert módszerek is teljesen más megvilágításba kerültek. A kurzuson részvevők is nagyszerűek voltak, azonnal megtaláltuk a közös hangot a hasonló problémáink miatt, igy rengeteg hasznos tapasztalatot tudtunk cserélni, amit a jövőben tudok hasznosítani.
