Course Description
Hard skills, also known as academic knowledge and know-how, are often the direct focus of education and the skills considered necessary to get your foot in the door of many fields of employment. Soft skills, however, are the interpersonal and intrapersonal abilities that not only help you keep that job and advance in your career – they help you live better in every aspect of your life.
During this course, educators will deepen their understanding of Soft Skills and reflect on their own abilities in their macro-areas such as Leadership, Relational Skills, Self-Awareness, Creativity, Problem-Solving, and Communication.Through hands-on activities that combine these skills, participants will learn to transform the prevailing theories of communication, as well as emotional and social intelligence, into practical experiences in their classroom.
While Soft Skills are sometimes conveyed in the curriculum through special projects and after-school activities, this course proposes ways to incorporate them into every facet of the school day.

During these courses we got acquainted with soft skills, their importance in modern life, at school. We have improved teamwork, creativity and leadership skills. By performing different tasks, we learned to apply soft skills in everyday school life. I have not been involved in Erasmus + KA-1 projects before, so I am very happy to be part of this team.

Europass teacher academy is highly professional organization. Course was organized trough many workshops. An excellent lecturer and other participants were truly involved in discussions and very helpful for deepening almost every topic we have been working on. I participated in an international project for the first time. I gained a lot of new experience in the courses. I have deepened my English language skills, expanded my intercultural competences and social skills. I strengthened my ability to behave in an unfamiliar, non-native environment. I gained new theories of social emotional education and methods of applying practical skills, which were shared by the course leader and educators from other countries. I improved my emotional intelligence, ability to adapt to changes in the environment, and self-knowledge through different activities. Working in groups strengthened interpersonal skills, practical abilities, the ability to collaborate with team members, creativity, flexibility, motivation, time planning skills. The organizers got to know the cultural and historical places and natural corners of the city of Florence and the Tuscany region very well. I thank the course organizers for the knowledge I gained (which I will apply in my work) and the cultural time I spent in Florence.

Kurs zorganizowany byl dla nauczycieli. Tematyka była bardzo interesująca, zajęcia były świetnie zorganizowane i przedstawione w sposób bardzo łatwy i przyjemny. Polegały w głownej mierze na aktywnych zajęciach w grupach. Jestem z nich bardzo zadowlona i nabyłam dużo nowych umiejętności.
