Course Description
Mastering a foreign language is a life skill, but are our students really aware of that? And how can teachers make language learning more engaging, more real for students? How can educators motivate and inspire them?
This course will provide participants with the necessary knowledge to properly integrate various educational tools to support each student’s learning style, thus fostering their motivation, applying the Multiple Intelligence Theory. Moreover, the course will focus on both traditional and digital tools that help to develop students’ language skills through story-telling, music, cinema, arts, and creativity.
Besides, participants will learn about some of the most relevant current theories in Linguistics and Psycholinguistics applied to language teaching and language learning, gaining practical experience in the best hacks to achieve student engagement.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to confidently integrate a variety of research-based strategies into their lesson plans, and maintain an effective learning environment in their language class.

The course was well organized. All the necessary information was shared on time. Our teacher trainer Tatiana balanced the sitting and moving activities, studying and sharing examples of good practice, as well as the time spent indoors and outdoors. The ideas, methods and apps to boost creativity in the language classroom were tested and tried out, not just listed and numbered, which was great because the participants had the opportunity to take the position of both teachers and students and really see and feel what could work in their own classrooms. Overall, a great experience.

The course was very interesting as it tried to show us new techniques for teaching foreign languages that are used around the world. I found the teacher's approach very appropriate, as she encouraged all the participants to use English as a source of communication and, at the same time, it was the language used as an example for all the activities that took place during the week. The approach to a foreign language through art and music was very interesting as well as everything related to how our brain works when learning another language.

La experiencia ha sido muy satisfactoria y enriquecedora, en la cual hemos aprendido diversidad de herramientas de trabajo tecnológicas. Se han echado en falta otro tipo de actividades en las cuales no se utilizaran las nuevas tecnologías como herramienta principal. Las actividades desarrolladas han sido muy lúdicas y la profesora ha hecho que la experiencia fuera más llevadera. Nos han proporcionado todo tipo de ayuda e información para el día a día en la ciudad.
