Course overview:
Using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Education can significantly contribute to a good quality of education and its effectiveness. This course is for teachers of all subjects, who desire to increase their proficiency in using technology in the classroom. Learn to use open educational resources, gain new skills, create a sample lesson and gain awareness of possible downsides of ICT in education and to avoid them.
Course Methodology:
Each module covers a different aspect of using ICT in education. Coursework will incorporate your existing knowledge and experience and provide a helpful learning environment with a good mix of theoretical and practical knowledge. Demonstration and interaction with the ICT in a hands-on way in international group setting will show the importance of collaboration and shared experience in using ICT in education.

Learning outcomes:
-Gain skills and knowledge necessary to create and implement e-learning platforms, incorporate digital technologies into educational lessons with regards to interdisciplinary approach.
-Generate ready‐to‐use materials, practical ideas and current online applications to support school or organisational development in the field of ICT, promote universal access to education.
-Support open educational resources (OER) and open learning environment in education, foster collaboration between educational sectors including disadvantaged learners.
-Develop key competences such as critical thinking through media and digital literacy, promote use of ICT to enhance quality and relevance of mainstream education at all levels.
-Revise and develop personal and professional competences, build confidence in promoting use of ICT in education, support innovative and active pedagogies responsive to social and cultural diversity.
-Gain broader understanding of practices, policies and systems of education of different countries, cultivate mutual respect, intercultural awareness and embed common educational and training values.
-Meet colleagues of different nationalities within the EU, engage in cross-cultural learning experience, exchange ideas and build a network for future international cooperation.
-Enrich communication skills, improve foreign language competencies, broaden professional vocabulary and promote EU’s broad linguistic diversity.

The course was called "ITC in education". It has been a great opportunity to increase my proficiency in using technology in the classroom. The organization has been perfect and everything has been perfectly coordinated. The teachers were competent and responsive to our concerns. In addition, it has been a great opportunity to meet colleagues from other countries with whom to coordinate new projects and an opportunity to practice the language.

The course was really succesful, the atmosphere, the teacher and the wjole team in Praga. They were very helpful and willing to solve any problem we could have. I found the syllabus totaly suitable for the training we were looking for, it was about the use of new technologies in the primary classes.It was no problem to contact them after the course for some extra help. It was really a pleasure.

The course title was 'ITC in Education'. It was mostly applicaple information : education applications and how to prepare them, website designing,simple coding etc. I usually learn these things online and I also took some face-to-face ITC courses, but this course is far more better than any other courses. The course provided us laptops in the classroom, and we applied the information just as we are learning it. The class was multicultural, we also learned their culture and education systems. The course provider was extremely helpful. They provide us a guided city tour, also send an informative brochure about travelling, transportation, accommodation and tours in the city. We had their e-mails and numbers, and they Daniel, Lukas and Iva was awailable whenever we needed them. The procedures were so quick. I was happy about the course, course provider and the city itself.

The course is about technological applications, internet security and health. This courses subjects are what we need in our project. The course provider tranfer the knowledge so efficiently. We can use our learnings about ICT in our classes and share with our colleagues.

Katıldığım kurs benim öğretmen olarak mesleki gelişimim için oldukça önemli fırsatlar sağladı. Öncelikle kurs merkezi şehir merkezinde ulaşımı oldukça kolay bir yerdeydi. Kurs yetkilileri oldukça ilgili ve yardımsever kişilerdi. Herhangi bir sorumuzu yanıtsız bırakmadılar ve olabildiğince bize yardımcı oldular. Kurs genel olarak öğretimde teknoloji kullanımı ve teknolojinin derslerimize transfer edilebilmesi için yeni yöntem ve araçlar öğrenmek üzerine kuruluydu. Tüm katılımcılar için bir bilgisayar bulunması dersleri kolaylaştırdı. Kurs farklı ülkelerden meslektaşları barındırıyordu. Böylece kültürel bir etkileşim sağladı. Ortak Avrupa değerlerini tanımamıza ve içselleştirmemize olanak sağladı. Kurs eğitmeni alanında uzman bir kişiydi. Bize yeni farklı yeni yöntemler öğretti. İletişimi güçlüydü. Kurs programına bağlı kalarak dersleri verimli bir şekilde işledi.

Hareketlilik öncesinde kurs ile iletişim kurmakta zorlandık. Kurs aşamasında ise kurs yerine ulaşım çok kolaydı. Kurs ortamı çok samimi, temiz ve moderndi. Gerekli teknolojik aletler yeterli, sınıf ortamı düzenliydi. İnternet kullanımında sorun yaşamadık. Eğitmenimiz gayet hazırlıklı, konusuna hakim ve sorduğumuz her soruya içtenlikle cevap verdi. Sınıfımızda farlı ülkelerden katılımcıların olması kültürel etkileşimi kolaylaştırdı. Okullarımızda iyi uygulamalar hakkında bilgi alışverişinde bulunduk. Kurs bitiminde ders notları ve uygulamalar maillerimizde paylaşıldı.

El curso me ha parecido muy completo. Hemos visto y tratado temas muy importantes como el uso de las nuevas tecnologías de forma responsable y eficiente en en ámbito escolar, así como los posibles problemas que pueden surgir y cómo gestionarlos. Además hemos manejado en profundidad algunas aplicaciones y webs que pueden ser muy útiles en nuestra labor como docentes. Personalmente prefiero que sea así, pues algunas veces se ven muchas cosas pero se llevan a la práctica de forma superficial y no ves las posibilidades que tienen. Desde el primer momento, los responsables del centro nos atendieron con eficiencia y amabilidad, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y a facilitar nuestra estancia/formación. El profesor ha demostrado gran destreza a la hora de dar la formación, teniendo en cuenta la diversidad de maestros/as que participábamos en el curso. Las clases han sido fluidas e interesantes. Lo que más me ha gustado es la metodología y la filosofía del centro. Se presentaban las herramientas, se ponían ejemplos, pero inmediatamente teníamos que ponernos a trabajar y hacerlo en equipos. También se ha hecho un uso muy bien planificado de los juegos y de actividades que despertaban nuestra motivación, haciéndonos imaginar como sería poner esas actividades en nuestras clases. Ha sido un experiencia muy positiva.
