Course Description
This course has been created for teachers who want to foster a more dynamic, creative environment in the classroom to encourage and stimulate students' interest in learning.
Teachers will have the opportunity to learn 'by doing' through a range of activities and experiences aimed toward promoting higher student self-esteem, greater cohesion and involvement among teachers, students and their families, providing strategies in discouraging early school-leaving and favoring a more meaningful school experience.
Participants will explore and experiment with cooperative learning, team building, mentoring and alternative forms of expression which can be adapted to their classroom to keep their students interested, engaged and motivated. Teachers will also learn how to recognize and intervene in early signs of teacher burn-out and seek increased job satisfaction.
By the end of the course, teachers will have acquired greater knowledge about how creativity, improved communication and enhanced relational skills can be effective allies in discouraging school-leaving and dissatisfaction with the scholastic experience.

The course named, A satisfaying school experience: strategies and skills for teachers, was directed by teacher trainer, Roberta Begliomini. We attended 9 teachers of four countries (Poland, Romania, Greece and Spain) It consisted of five sessions during the morning. We carried out activities related to motives behind leaving school early, scholastic apathy and its consequences, the importance of school-students-families alliance, how to keep motivation high, how to manage disruptive behaviours and conflicts, body and mind learning (mindfullness) and, finally how to use skills and strategies about all of it. We worked in a friendly atmosphere and interacted each other with good aptitude. We kept in contact with new materials which allowed us to manage other forms of teaching

The theory was shown clearly, very plastic, full of examples, with a lot of marks for further research and learning. An excellent lecturer that was kind and friendly, as much as other participants that were truly involved in discussions and very helpful for deepening almost every topic we have been working on.
