Course Description
Requirements: Intermediate computer proficiency
This course has been created for teachers who want to utilize tablets in the classroom to the best of their ability via educational apps that cover a variety of subjects.
Participants will discover some of the most popular and practical educational apps for teaching and student learning across a wide range of subjects. They will learn how to properly integrate these apps in the classroom as a tool to support their learning. Participants will also learn the concept of app smashing and how it can enhance their teaching and student learning.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to confidently integrate a variety of apps into their lesson plans. They will have a greater understanding of app integration in both academic and non-academic settings, as well as being able to use app smashing in projects.

I had a wonderful experience in Florence. It was the first time I had taken part in an Erasmus program and I had the chance to be informed about new teaching methods. More specifically, I learned about new applications that can be put into practice in the classroom combined with technology. The trainer, a young girl named Ayse, was very helpful and understandable, since she is closely involved with the intergration of technology into education and she is an Apple teacher and an MIE expert. We had a very good cooperation together and the course was very well prepared. The visit to Florence was also a life-time experience!

I have attended several corresponding seminar courses of this type in my country. However, the specific course was a separately structured one. It was very helpful in learning new technology apps for classroom teaching. Our instructor, Ayse Merve Sut, was fully qualified in these innovative programs and was very contagious in learning these apps. The Europass Teacher Academy facilities were satisfactory with great support from the staff there.The city of Florence is a city that one should definitely visit at least once in their life. In combination with the design of such a training program of the Europass Teacher Academy, makes the training week unforgettable for your whole life. Also, meeting teachers from other European countries brings you closer to the educational systems of these countries, to other educational cultures and practices. In every way a truly unforgettable experience. I hope in the future to experience a similar participation in a similar program of the Europass Teacher Academy.

First of all, the course was very good chosen, because I think, it met our needs in computer skills. The apps we were shown were very helpful and useful and we could use them not only in our teaching process but we could also communicate with parents using them, and of course through cooperating more closely in the school, we could create a base of teaching materials that could be used in the way that best suits the needs of our students. The activities during the course we created in the way that we could and should communicate with our colleagues from different European countries, so that we can exchange ideas and experiences with them. Afterwards the three of us, we talked about the issues mentioned and we also learned form each other. At the beginning of the course, the activities were carried out slowly, but in that way our teacher trainer was able to get better our group. In such a way the work with the group was more effective and beneficial. The course provider organized the course in a very comfortable environment, regarding the location of the course, the rooms were well equipped and arranged. We spent a part of our course outside the classroom and it was also well organized. We were able to get known better the city, the region and again during these activities we could exchange the information with our colleagues from other countries and to know better their cultures, customs and traditions too.

I was very satisfied with the course itself and our teacher trainer. I got everything I expected and more. I learned how to use new apps , was able to practice and use them in a teaching process. Made useful contacts with other participants, shared our knowledge and teaching methods. Our trainer was very open, positive, patient, explained everything in a way we can understand and use. We were provided with everything we needed for the course. The practical part of the course was very useful and interesting.
