Cultural Heritage in Action - 10 Days Course in Crete
This course is for all those who want to broaden their understanding of cultural heritage as an expression of values, beliefs, knowledge and traditions and learn how to use cultural heritage as a resource for teaching. Participants will have the opportunity to get to know the theoretical background as well get in touch with tools and go through a series of practical exercises in order to facilitate the use cultural heritage as a resource for teaching about and through cultural heritage. A strong focus will be on on-site experiential learning, study visits and simulations. Participants are expected to have at least A2 level of English proficiency. The course consisted of two parts. In the first part I had an opportunity to raise my theoretical knowledge and practical skills on cultural heritage in action. The second part was aimed towards making videos and presentations for educational purposes as well as promoting European projects and the Idea of life long learning.
