It was the most valuable training course I have ever attended. First of all because of well qualified teachers with great personalities and broad knowledge such as lovely Freia Layfield and energetic Lucy Holmes. The organisation of the course is on the high level, Carmel Engin is a very helpful director. Apart from CLIL sessions and personal development the course included cultural trips and visit to Oxford Spires Academy. I came back to school with lots of new ideas and understanding the CLIL concept. That experience developed my comminication skills and gave me opportunity to share good practice with teachers that I had pleasure to meet. I highly recommend the Lake School of English.

My participation in this CLIL course was very important to me. I learnt a lot. The time in course changed my mind and opened me to different culture. The most important was communication and speaking acivites in the CLIL classroom, listening activities for content and language development. My teachers Freia Layfield and Lucy Holmes were very inspirationed. I enjoyed activities after lessons too. Thank you everyone!

My participation in this CLIL course has been an important and valuable experience to me. Most of all because of the people I have had a pleasure to meet. Thanks to their exquisite personalities and broad knowledge the time we had in Oxford was a pure pleasure. This also refers to the teachers: Freia Layfield and Sharlene Matharu. Their attitude to classes was very motivational. I reckon we all came back with the feeling that being a teacher is a profession worth doing. Thank you for your inspiration!

One of the most interesting teacher training activities I have attended! Although I had been taught the innovating CLIL way of teaching before, the way The Lake School of English presented it made everything crystal clear. Teacher trainers, really well prepared for the sessions, familiarized us with the CLIL concept in the most interesting and accurate way. They provided us with a great loss of sessions material for reasons of self improvement and diffusion! Cultural activities organized were great, too. I certainly highly recommend this training activity!
