The course was a theoretical and practical approach to different methodologies used in Early Childhood Education. It was developed in Bologna between May 1 and 7 and consisted of theoretical approaches to the different methodologies and practices in the schools that developed them. The course was called the Best for Preschool Teachers and it was very interesting. We did not get the chance to visit educational institutions as much as we wanted because of the CoVid restriction, but the course provider did his best. I have learned and clarified a lot of my knowledge, I have met wonderful people from different countries, I practiced my English, Spanish and Italian. I really appreciated the course provider's flexibility, they really care about our feedback and our wishes, they did us the best recommendation for sightseeing and they helped us with some reservations. I also appreciated the course structure and the accommodation. It took place in Camplus Bononia, a great place, a 20 minutes walk to the city centre, close enough to daily visits and also far enough to a peaceful night sleep. The accommodation conditions were excellent and it was a real advantage that the course took place in the same building, to get to lunch all you had to do was to reach the first floor. The food was great, the course provider took us to some fantastic local restaurants. In our first day we have a visiting tour with a professional guide, and during our course week we had another tour with one of the trainers, a great person, Dominik and they both told us fascinating stories and the secrets of Bononia. The other participants were from Spain, Latvia, Denmark and Greece and it was fascinating to mingle with all of them. The city is amazing, full of young students, joy and architectural masterpieces. It was an amazing experience!

The course was amazing, it had all the elements needed to be actively involved in the learning process. The course was about alternative learning methods in early childhood education. Considering the fact it is corona virus time we didn't get the chance to visit certain places but the course itself was designed to be easily understanded and active.

The title of the course was “Best for Preschool Educators” where we covered and researched the topics of non-formal learning, play as a base in working with children, the Montessori method, the Reggio Emilia approach, and Outdoor education. The course management was excellent, very dynamic and interesting. The facilitator presented very little theory, and everything else was interactive learning with a many of exercises, games, and workshops. I was thrilled by the organized visit to a kindergarten that conducts outdoor education. Everything was, indeed, very useful and possible to implement in my future work with children and colleagues.
