Course Description
This course has been specifically designed for language teachers who want to integrate educational apps and digital tools into their methodology, practicing the latest language teaching approaches.
Participants will learn about some of the most suitable educational apps for language teaching and language learning, gaining practical experience in the best solutions to foster students’engagement and motivation. Besides, the course will provide participants with the necessary knowledge to properly integrate these apps in the classroom as valuable tools to support each student’s learning style.
Moreover, the course will focus on digital tools that help to develop students’language skills through music, cinema, and arts.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to confidently integrate a variety of digital tools into their lesson plans and maintain an effective learning environment in their language class.

Les cours consistaient en une découverte d'une multitude d'applications liées à l'apprentissage des LVE. Pour découvrir ces applications, lors de l'appropriation d'une des applications, une thématique culturelle était proposée.

Le sujet du cours suivi était une présentation des outils numériques au service de l'apprentissage d'une langue étrangère. Le cours bien qu'intéressant aurait gagné à être rationnalisé et contextualisé dans une séquence d'apprentissage. Au lieu de cela, cela a plutôt ressemblé à un catalogue d'outils sans intention pédagogique. L'instructeur de l'école a néanmoins été très sympathique et attaché à nous faire partager la culture catalane.

Le cours suivi s'intitule "The best digital tools for language teachers" et est proposé par the European Academy of creativity (Barcelone). Les locaux de l'école sont très exigus et très mal insonorisés. Il est très difficile de comprendre l'enseignant car on entend les conversations de l'accueil et des salles voisines. L'école ne dispose pas d'un véritable espace de convivialité et de détente. Il s'agit juste d'un couloir sans siège avec une machine à café et une sorte de bar avec quelques sachets de thé. L'enseignant a proposé un catalogue d'applications sans aucune réflexion pédagogique sur leur plus-value ou leurs limites ni sur les utilisations qui pourraient en être faites dans les cours de langues vivantes à l'école primaire. La plupart d'entre elles étaient des applications de Quiz requérant des élèves une bonne maîtrise de l'écrit (ce qui n'est pas le cas des élèves de primaire). La pratique de l'oral a été très peu évoquée. Les apports culturels quant à eux ont été importants et variés (25 % du temps environ).
