Based on formal, informal and non-formal education, our methodology will try to stimulate active participation, pro-activity, responsibility and sharing of all participants involved. In this way, we aim to build a diverse and stimulating environment for reflecting, working and learning. It has a horizontal and practical approach and will make use of the following tools:
• face-to-face lessons
• team-building and team-working
• best practice case-studies
• multimedia and web resources
• project based working
• practical laboratory
• brainstorming and focus-group
• role-play
• self and group assessment and evaluation.

Since this course has several features in common with other courses (as you can check on this platform), sometimes participants will be all together, sometimes with some other participants, sometimes alone, depending on the specific programme. In this way we also intend to foster the cooperation and exchange between them all, as well as the knowledge of other school education systems and practices.

After the confirmation and before starting, we check the previous knowledge and experience of participants, as well as their specific needs related to the topics of our training course. In addition, we will provide some documents and learning contents of our “Library of Methods & Tools” in order to start getting involved in topics and subjects that will be taught.

All participants are expected to maintain access and communication with the rest of their colleagues as well as with the trainer and participate in useful discussions either through the virtual classroom platform and via e-mail. Trainers and company will also be available for any further questions for a period of 5 months after the end of the course, either through e-mail, virtual classroom platform, individual Skype calls, telephone or WhatsApp. By means of all these tools, we aim to get an effective follow-up, to stimulate peer networking, to keep in touch and to share opinions, experiences and practices for unlimited time.

The entire training catalogue is supported by an international team of experts in project management of European projects. The coordinator and main trainer of the event is Alessandro Gariano: founder and manager of Enjoy Italy, active in education and training as well as local development and destination management; trainer of teachers and for educational organisations (110+ in-services trainings provided, 900+ trainees); youth trainer in the context of non-formal education; project designer, project manager and expert of EU Programmes.

The course didn't give me many new ideas - the methods presented are quite popular in my country. The trainer was very nice but we didn't spend much time on the course. It wasn't bad but for the money we paid we were hoping for more.

Very useful, inspiring, well organised. Visit to the EU Institutions and friendly atmposphere with colleagues, fostered by the trainer, are undoubtedly good pluses.

The course was mostly about getting to know various web tools that can be used in the classroom. Also about viewing various you-tube videos about education and ideas (which can be done from home, that is without having to waste so much European grant money). Although it was a quite interesting experience, it had small relation with what is described in School Education Gateway database. It was quite disturbing to realize that each of the participants had applied for a DIFFERENT course of the same organizer ("Enjoy Italy"), but we were all together in the same course, which was like "something about everything".

Dear Georgios, we are very glad to hear that it was an "interesting experience" but also sorry to notice (for the first time from you) that we did not follow what it is described here above. In fact, we realised everything as it was planned and communicated. Including a drama & story-telling session that it seemed you all enjoyed a lot (as evident from the videos we recorded). Plus an intense role-play game at the EU Parliament (out of the regular programme, to be honest). As for joining some session together with participants of other courses, this is exactly what we scheduled in the programme of these other courses, as you all may see surfing on the portal and on the website. And this formula also aims to foster the exchange, mutual understanding, team-work and cooperation among participants. Hence, where is the problem? Finally, we want to remind you that you can continue enter to our Edmodo group and that we will be always available to respond your further questions, either through e-mail, Whatsapp, phone, Edmodo or Skype calls. It would be nice if in the next future you can share any output/outcome that you will have realised/achieved thanks to this experience. We wish you a good and productive work with and on behalf of your students. Thanks for coming, Alessandro Gariano & Enjoy Italy team

My opinion about the course - training contents provided: relevance, coherence, quality and transferability potential I think the training was interesting and it will be useful in my daily work with students. I had the opportunity to get in touch with some new tools, different from the ones I already knew. We can use them in our school, but with some changes, as they are in English. - training methods and tools used: effectiveness, clarity and quality The methods and the tools are clear and specific. The tools had quality and the instruments of work were integrative and significant. As I have done many trainings in the area of ICT, I already knew many of the digital tools presented. However, it was important to discover new proposals of activity. - organisation: timetable and spaces The course took place in different spaces which was comfortable. But with a large group it was not functional, with a small group it was excellent. The schedule could be different, that is, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, so that we could have free time, in order to get to know the city. - communication (between you and me): efficiency and effectiveness Thank you for speaking in different languages and showing interest in knowing other languages. - suggestions for improvement. In the future it's necessary to have the programme and the place of the course earlier, because in that way we can interact with the group. I felt there was no complicity between the trainees. In the previous courses, we would go out to dinner and get to know the city together, something which would be important especially for me that went alone. I stayed many days in Rome and there was no need for it, if I had known the programme before booking the trip. Nevertheless, it was a different experience. Thanks Helena Vilas Boas

Participating at this course motivated me very much to do my job as a teacher with more creativity, to be more active and to involve fun and games in the formal education which helps me to combat absenteeism quite effective. However I met a part of the informations I heard in this course, now I have other point of view to see non-formal education and implement in the formal education.
