Digital skills, media literacy and active citizenship for the Future Classroom
Digital citizenship is becoming increasingly important for schools and educators. Digital technology can be an enabler in many positive ways. Yet, the pandemic has highlighted the persistent digital gap, with some children and young people at risk of being left behind.
This course includes two parts: the first part will focus on digital skills and media literacy; the second part will cover active citizenship. Which knowledge, skills and competencies do children and young people need in a digital society? How to empower them all to become active and responsible citizens, taking ownership of their personal and professional future?
Participants will cover issues and topics like media literacy, online safety, fake news, online hate speech, entrepreneurial thinking and democratic participation. By looking at existing tools and resources, they will get hands-on support on how to develop their own strategies and practices. Find out more at our website!
The exact course dates will be confirmed 3 months ahead.
