Effective Self-Management with outdoor activities in Tenerife
With deliberate self-management, you have the ability to control your actions, feelings, and thoughts in all situations. You set the direction of your life and move steadily towards your goals with self-discipline, motivation, and focus. When you have strong self-management skills, you tend to be more successful across all fields of life: work, school, or home.
At the course, we will explore the essence of self-management, as well as related techniques e.g. goal setting, time management, stress management, mindfulness, self-motivation, conflict management and physical activities.
As a result, you will better know yourself; your values, strengths and weaknesses; manage your emotions; reduce stress impact; improve communication skills and become a happier, more balanced person. So it's worth investing time and effort in developing these skills.
The acquired tools and techniques can be further implemented at work with children or colleagues to create healthy routines and build trustful relationships.
This course combines the classroom theory in the morning and practical modules in beautiful outdoor places in the afternoon.

Detailed program of the 1 week training period:
The classes are scheduled from Monday to Friday from 9 AM till 3 PM. This means that you will still have a lot of time to discover Tenerife after our intensive training.

• Learning to be assertive
• Increasing focus via mindfulness
• Outdoor activity: mindful walking through Puerto de la Cruz.
Wednesday
• Managing stress in your life
• ABC technique
• Developing thought awareness
• Affirmation, visualization and imagery
• Getting enough exercise and sleep
• Outdoor activity: healthy picnic and discussion on nutrition
Thursday
• Managing negative emotions at work
• Mastering conflict resolution skills
• Dealing with difficult people
• Maintaining personal boundaries
• Building a supportive network in the workplace
• Team building exercise: problem solving and decision making
Friday
• Outdoor activity: Pilates on the beach – a workout for body and mind
