OBJECTIVES
1) Become aware of key issues related to digital literacy in education
2) Reflect, discuss and review on blended, flipped and cooperative teaching and learning by integrating technology and web tools
3) Getting inspired by best practices on how ICT can enhance students motivation, participation, entrepreneurship and learning
4) Improve digital skills by working with a range of interesting tools, software and programmes for teaching and learning
5) Design and develop concrete teaching projects (multimedia contents, resources and blended lessons) to be applied in classroom

Day 4: Collaboration, creativity and story-telling
• Websites, web-wares, mobile apps and electronic products for teaching and learning: an overview
• Collaborative web tools
• Digital Storytelling in Europe: features, tools and best practices
• Gamification for teaching in Europe: features, tools and best practices
• Coding for education
• Practical laboratory: step-by-step process and guidance.

Day 5: A new beginning
- Visit to a local school involved in these topics and brainstorming with its relevant staff (upon availability)
- Cultural visit of the city centre, celebrating the “European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018”
- Planning the follow up: future projects together
- Course evaluation
- Releasing of official course certifications.

METHODOLOGY
Based on formal, informal and non-formal education, our methodology will try to stimulate active participation, pro-activity, responsibility and sharing of all participants involved. In this way, we aim to build a diverse and stimulating environment for reflecting, working and learning. It has a horizontal and practical approach and will make use of the following tools:
• face-to-face lessons
• team-building and team-working
• best practice case-studies
• multimedia and web resources
• project based working
• practical laboratory
• brainstorming and focus-group
• role-play
• self and group assessment and evaluation.

PREPARATION
After the confirmation and before starting, we check the previous knowledge and experience of participants, as well as their specific needs related to the topics of our training course. In addition, we will provide some documents and learning contents of our “Library of Methods & Tools” in order to start getting involved in topics and subjects that will be taught.

FOLLOW UP
All participants are expected to maintain access and communication with the rest of their colleagues as well as with the trainer and participate in useful discussions either through the virtual classroom platform and via e-mail. Trainers and company will also be available for any further questions for a period of 5 months after the end of the course, either through e-mail, virtual classroom platform, individual Skype calls, telephone or WhatsApp. By means of all these tools, we aim to get an effective follow-up, to stimulate peer networking, to keep in touch and to share opinions, experiences and practices for unlimited time.

TRAINERS
The entire training catalogue is supported by an international team of experts in project management of European projects. The coordinator and main trainer of the event is Alessandro Gariano: founder and manager of Enjoy Italy, active in education and training as well as local development and destination management; trainer of teachers and for educational organisations (110+ in-services trainings provided, 900+ trainees); youth trainer in the context of non-formal education; project designer, project manager and expert of EU Programmes.

TRAINING INSTITUTION
Enjoy Italy is a small company aiming to animate, stimulate and support the sustainable development of citizens, territories and communities. Either in Italy and Europe. It has been founded by a dynamic and passionate young professional on few but solid values: responsibility, identity, inclusion, sharing, lifelong learning, civic awareness and sustainability. And a vivid passion for its land.

Two are the specific areas of its action:
- Education & Training: provision of tools and opportunities for a personal, social, cultural and professional growth. For responsible citizens and communities. It provided 150+ in-service trainings to 1300+ teachers and professionals and, in addition, 20+ trainings to 500+ trainees in the context of non-formal education.
- Local Development & Destination Management and: assistance to public and private entities in developing vision and goals, providing advice and services during the entire life cycle of a project. For sustainable destinations.

The company has got some relevant experience in the design and management of different projects within several EU Programmes and Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 in particular, as well as in the education and training field, both at national and international level.

CERTIFICATIONS
At the end of the course, each participant will be awarded with a certificate of attendance together with the Europass Mobility Certificate (upon request of the sending organisation).

First of all, I should say that it was a very interesting and fruitful training course. The training contents were absolutely relevant to our pedagogical targets. All the topics were very useful, coherent and of high quality. Furthermore, the training methods and tools that have been used were very clear, effective and creative. The schedule was well organized and well implemented, and certainly not tiring. The spaces that the sessions took place were comfortable and we were enabled to collaborate and cooperate easily and creatively. Our tutor was communicative, effective, efficient speaker and had a great experience in didactic methods. In addition his instructive way had a great transferability potential.

The training contents were fairly relevant to our initial pedagogical goals. The different objects of study examined were linked to each other in a way that new practices were lightened. Their structure was such that gradually led to their understanding and consolidation. The quality of education was excellent because it took place in an experiential way and was easily understood. This familiarization with the new pedagogical teaching methods enabled the dissemination and impartation of new knowledge from the participants to the local educational community and the broader social context. Besides penetrating the objects of study, clarity and the logical sequence with which the training methods and tools were taught guarantee their complete understanding and effectiveness. Also, interaction with participants from other countries and cultures was quite productive. The spaces used were highly accordant with the philosophy of the innovative practices and the venues that we visited are deemed necessary to complement the new practice. The timetable was satisfactory for the time available. Communication with the instructor was prompt and constructive. Suggestions for improvement: -Communication with the participants prior to the training to enable better preparation and organization of the area that the participants stay. -The proximity of accommodation would probably result in greater consistency and interaction between them in their free time to exchange views and activities that will promote coherence, trust, mutual appreciation and effort to solve common problems.

The training contents were relevant to the issues that we cope with in our classes. All the topics were of high quality, totally helpful and supportive in order to impart the knowledge to the students and to the colleagues in our country . Furthermore, the training methods and tools were very effective and were based on experience and examples from everyday life in the class. The clearness and the efficacy of the instructive way was very useful for the comprehension of all the new information. Moreover the schedule was well organized and structured, so everyday we were occupied with different but very interesting subjects. The spaces were very comfortable and appropriate for the direct communication with the tutor and the other colleagues. The tutor, was very effective and efficient. Overall it was a very interesting training course.

Fore sure I have become more motivated to carry on developing my professional skills. In particular, some contents provided have been useful and relevant. I reported the experience to my headmaster using tools I found out during the course. The methods and tools used have been clear and the organisation was very good. The communication was very clear and efficient. On the other hand, the tools provided have been too many. I think it's better to have more time to practice. Thanks a lot for your availability.

I didn´ t recommend that course. I attended in March 2018 in Milan. We were 10 teachers taking 4 different courses at the same time, in the same place and with the same teacher. Alessandro wasn´ t as professional as I hope. I was very disappointed with the course.

Hello Rosa, we do not understand your rate and comment. Despite of the fact that staying together with other participants happened only for fe sessions, this is exactly what we scheduled in the programme of these other courses, as you all may see surfing on the portal and on the website! Specifically: the first and last sessions of each course is in common with every course, while other sessions are in common between some of them (one workshop of ICT, for example, is scheduled for many of our courses). Hence, where is the problem? Also, being 10 in a room with a capacity of 12/15 persons, with chair and desk for each of them, is a problem?! I did never forget to reply to your questions or help you with your tasks. We hope that you have been inspired by the contents and inputs provided, as well as that you will be able to adopt and adapt at least one of the several methods and tools that were part of your training course. First of all, I need to mention that I attended the Milan course in the period from May, 05th to May 09th, which unfortunately couldn't be selected as course date above. To the course itself: A collegue and I went to Milan in order to get new inspiration in the use of ICT - tools and - as mentioned in the course' title - especially in the transformation of blended learning theory and concepts into practical school lessons. The course gave insights into several apps and learning software, which was the greatest benefit of it. As stated in other reports, the course is held as FIVE DIFFERENT COURSES (ICT, school leadership, non-formal learning, entrepreneurship, cultural learning and storytelling) IN PART SIMULTANOUSLY or in PARALLEL, without any assignments or projects in the meantime. Even though, there would have been great opportunities to get some hands-on training on school relevant topics or intercultural project groups to test the presented apps and software in detail, those chances were not seized. In short, the course mainly is a presentation of apps, often in much too small and way to loud rooms, and with hardly any didactical or pedagogical concept, to clarify the most interesting question to teachers, which situations might be suitable or fitting for the mentioned tool. Asking for deeper information on concepts of implementing blended-learning in secondary schools, the only answer I got was, that this is not the course to answer those questions. This was one of the most disappoiniting moments since the blended-learning part was the main trigger to decide for that special course. Thinking about ICT, the course at least offered a large amount of apps with short training (rather playing around and figuring out) time. How well the contentwise very different other topics fit into the same concept (since courses were to quite a large extend held simultaneously by the same trainer!) is still unclear. It was not only me leaving this training very disappointed, since it is just not reasonably possible, to train FIVE TOPICS together. And even the few opportunities of bringing the courses together by cooperative project work were not taken.

Kind Patrick, I am sorry to hear, since till now we received good feedbacks from other participants. First of all, please note that: the sessions of different courses that were similar in contents and aims (check their programmes on this portal and on our website), were held together. Nothing strange, unfair, or whatever you want to say. We simply respected the programme of each of the five (four, actually) training courses, as agreed by participants. Or didn't we? And staying together with participants of other training course is also an additional opportunity for you. You and everyone were always welcome to make questions or ask more. And I think my answers were polite and, above all, effective. Hence I don’t remember I replied as you said, to your question!This is false, since we always provided polite and, above all, effective and appropriate answer to any question, to each participant. But even, if what you say is true, he could have asked again and again, since I was always there and always helpful and open. Isn't it? We could have had more cooperative work, within and without your ICT group (including other groups, then), that’s clear and natural. But we (you) already had some, even just with one colleague. And I invited you all to cooperate, share and explore things together: some of you went further, some of you not. As usual. As for locations and timetable, they were given some weeks before the start, as usual.. Finally, we offer you the possibility to attend two extra trainings day, for free: simply check our calendar and, if you have time and opportunity, join us.
