METHODOLOGY
Based on formal, informal and non-formal education, our methodology will try to stimulate active participation, pro-activity, responsibility and sharing of all participants involved. In this way, we aim to build a diverse and stimulating environment for reflecting, working and learning. It has a horizontal and practical approach and will make use of the following tools:
• face-to-face lessons
• team-building and team-working
• best practice case-studies
• multimedia and web resources
• project based working
• practical laboratory
• brainstorming and focus-group
• role-play
• self and group assessment and evaluation.

Since this course has several features in common with other courses (as you can check on this platform), sometimes participants will be all together, sometimes with some other participants, sometimes alone, depending on the specific programme. In this way we also intend to foster the cooperation and exchange between them all, as well as the knowledge of other school education systems and practices.

PREPARATION
After the confirmation and before starting, we check the previous knowledge and experience of participants, as well as their specific needs related to the topics of our training course. In addition, we will provide some documents and learning contents of our “Library of Methods & Tools” in order to start getting involved in topics and subjects that will be taught.

FOLLOW UP
All participants are expected to maintain access and communication with the rest of their colleagues as well as with the trainer and participate in useful discussions either through the virtual classroom platform and via e-mail. Trainers and company will also be available for any further questions for a period of 5 months after the end of the course, either through e-mail, virtual classroom platform, individual Skype calls, telephone or WhatsApp. By means of all these tools, we aim to get an effective follow-up, to stimulate peer networking, to keep in touch and to share opinions, experiences and practices for unlimited time.

TRAINERS
The entire training catalogue is supported by an international team of experts in project management of European projects. The coordinator and main trainer of the event is Alessandro Gariano: founder and manager of Enjoy Italy, active in education and training as well as local development and destination management; trainer of teachers and for educational organisations (110+ in-services trainings provided, 900+ trainees); youth trainer in the context of non-formal education; project designer, project manager and expert of EU Programmes.

I and my two colleagues attended this training in Naples, Italy. I must admit we got informed about numerous useful educational platforms and web tools. However, for someone who has basic or no knowledge in ICT, it will be very difficult for them to follow this course: the trainer explained everything about using a specific web tool in less than 5 minutes, so everyone had to remember everything at once, in order to be able to use the web tools. Also, at every training or workshop that I have attended previously (and I have been to many), the organisations/trainers would always provide the participants with coffee/ water/snacks at the breaks, which was not the case during this training. So, we had to remember to bring our coffee or drinks in the morning. The training could have ended with a more formal lunch/dinner in a restaurant, where the participants would get the Certificates. Instead, we were handed the Certificates outside a school we visited and the Certificates were not even put in a folder, so we had to be careful not to lose them or damage them.

Dear Kristina, we got your feedback and, honestly, we are a bit disappointed. We usually provide coffee and sometimes also snacks, but unfortunately in this venue in Naples the property didn’t allow us to do that: sorry for that. But, at least, in the first day we offered some chocolates and water. We also planned a common meal (a pizza for lunch on the 1st May), but you decided to go by your own. Also skipping the activity planned for the morning. I presented several ICT tools, as you said, but even if the introduction of them was short, then I was always available to answer further questions of participants and to help them. And I gave you enough time to explore them by your own. As for the certificates, you are right, but I hope it was a minor thing. Finally, I hope you can re-consider your feedback and rate us with at least one more star: 2 stars seem too bad for all we did for your group and you, from the beginning. Thanks and greetings Alessandro & Enjoy Italy team

After many booring seminars which I participated, finally one refreshment... We had a great educator, a very interesting tourist guide and even a good company, during those 4 days. Much more than expected ... Thank you for everything! I really Enjoy Italy! Because all of that ..."It was pleasure for me to be with you. But everything, even the best things have an end "... The course is over, but there are open possibilities for a new beginning with new knowledge and skills. The best course recommendations!

I had fun. The course was good, I liked the athmosphere. Teacher was good. I think the schedule was nice. Only minus was the studying room, I think it could've been a bit more comfortable and better airconditioned. But that's only a minor defect. I think this was a good course and good time to rethink own teaching. Even for ICT-specialist like me it had some good ideas. I have made notes about few apps I gotta try later on. Thank you for all.

Enjoy Italy training course; web sites, mobile applications, desktop programs and electronic products for cooperative and blended learning and teaching, creation of multimedia teaching content, video production and editing for learning, creation of practical laboratory classes of the future, the use of many web 2.0 tools through the course training . Using these applications, we learned that we can interact with our students outside the school. In addition, we liked the work of videos, adding questions to videos and getting feedback from the students is a nice method. This training course was very helpful for us. The only problem was that there was little time to implement the practices during the training. We met our colleagues from many different countries and exchanged information about each other's education systems and cultures. We have agreed to work together in different projects in the future. We had the chance to see the historical, cultural and natural beauties of Rome. Ultimately, this training course was very useful for us, and it helped us improve ourselves. We would like to thank Alessandro Gariano, our course instructor for myself, my participating teacher friends and all Karatay Science High School teachers and students.

The content was relevant, the digital tools were carefully chosen and useful both in the classroom and at home. They are not too time-consuming for the teacher to master and use or too complicated for students. Even the youngest students will be able to actively use some of the tools. The content was presented in a clear and coherent manner which was easy for the participants to understand and follow. My group had the workshops in the afternoon/evening, from 3.30/4.30pm to 8.30pm which I found very convenient since the morning and early afternoon was free for sightseeing (sightseeing left us physically exhausted, but ready for some creative work). The co-working space where we had our workshops was comfortable and suitable for group work and there were light refreshments offered at all times. The communication was relaxed and efficient, meaning that I felt free to ask questions, and I was satisfied with the answers.

The course was well structured and the main timetable was followed. The content was useful, the strategies and methods in this section addressed, interacted with us effectively, so increased the likelihood that the knowledge and skills gained through training will be retained and applied. There were implement active learning opportunities to practice. As for the Trainer- deep Knowledge of the subject and willing to help and support the learners in their activities and engage them in new learning opportunities through ICT. Workplace and number of training participants helped us to work efficiently.

A lot of excellent apps for our work and a very good presentation of them all, very practical and useful. Definitely too many contents for five days, and for sure I will have enough tools for the next years! The school visit was also very very helpful and well organised. The office and the place itsfelf are also very nice.

I have done the ICT course in Rome together with other colleagues from Spain, Portugal, Finland, Belgium ... we have all ended up very dissatisfied with the organization that is a single person, reaching five courses at a time. They did not give us materials, they changed us shortly before starting the place to do the course and doing this in a flat or in a nursery. The objectives of the course have not been met and we are all very unhappy and disappointed. We warn so that nobody does the course with Enjoy Italy because they will cheat you and you will not learn anything new.

Translate (Registered users only)

"Kind" Ines, I was very disappointed that you DISAPPEARED for many days WITHOUT PAYING the balance, until we wrote to your school. This is NOT the right behaviour! Sorry again for the late change of our location: it caused problems to us as well, but the new one is not a nursery: it is one of the most innovative co-working in Rome, indeed! As for joining some session together with participants of other courses, this is exactly what we scheduled in the programme of these other courses, as you all may see surfing on the portal and on the website. We hope that you have been inspired by the contents and inputs provided, as well as that you will be able to adopt and adapt at least one of the several methods and tools that were part of your training course. We remind you that you can continue enter to our Edmodo group and that we will be available to respond your further questions, either through e-mail, Whatsapp, phone, Edmodo or Skype calls. It would be nice if in the next future you can share any output/outcome that you will have realised/achieved thanks to this learning experience. We wish you will have a good job with and on behalf of your students.

The course for me has been very intense, with many contents but I have to point out that at all times I have felt supported to be able to continue with the course. The contents were quite relevant to our teaching process needs. The course helped us to catch up with latest teaching technological tools and methods. The classes have been dynamic, intense and participative, so the follow-up, despite the complexity and intensite of the contents, has been possible. Now there is the individual work of the participants to be able to transfer the contents to the daily work of each one of us in the classroom. I have a very good impression for this course. We have had a valuable and condensed information within a reasonable time. Thanks and greetings, María José

Horrible organisation: - four (!) different locations, for example in a loud/noisy cafe (!) without tables (!), we tried to work, where other people had coffee and conversation meanwhile - only at the last day water as offered drink, we had to force breaks and search for something to eat and drink for ourselves - A.G. held five courses at the same time: our ICT course, school leadership, non formal education, cultural heritage and entrepreneurship. He sometimes seperated the people, then had all together, so that you often had input abroad from your booked topics - he never gave an overview of what's going to happen during the day - ICT meant: lots lots lots of tools, no didactics, no working on topics, just like studying a catalogue - no real contact to the different groups, no "getting together" the participants, we organised an evening meal of our own - no awareness of needs (saying hello, saying "sorry for being late", asking for what we expect, what we want to learn, sit together with colleagues and exchange experiences)

Translate (Registered users only)

Kind Tanja, we are sorry to hear that. As for joining some session together with participants of other courses, this is exactly what we scheduled in the programme of these other courses, as you all may see surfing on the portal and on the website. And this formula also aims to foster the exchange, mutual understanding, team-work and cooperation among participants. So we are very glad that you have also been able to organise a meal together! Indeed, the very first thing we did together was to present ourselves and to share our needs and expectations: did you forget it? Even if locations were 3, which is very unusual for us, they were all very conveniently located, very close to metro stations and very close to the city centre. Hence we are sure it has not been a problem. We always offer coffee (and water, of course). I am personally sorry that you did not appreciate my positive and kind behaviour, because what can't miss to say "hello", "how are" you and "goodbye". Instead, let me say that one day you disappeared without saying anything, while we were still waiting for you, showing no respect for me and, above all, for the other participants!!

The contents were quite relevant to our expectations and to our teaching process needs. The course material was quite coherent and easy to follow through. The quality of content material was very good and the knowledge we attained can be transferred to our colleagues. Training method and tools were of excellent quality and effective in what we expected to learn in terms of technology. The course helped us to catch up with latest teaching technological tools and methods. Everything was quite clear to us. We have good impression in what we view as a substantial course, i.e. valuable and condensed information within a reasonable time, however spaces could a little bit more organised. Excellent! Looking forward to more likewise courses! Thanking you once more and looking forward to future cooperation. Best regards, Katerina and Christia
