COURSE BACKGROUND AND COURSE OVERVIEW:
Creative Drama stands for the improved form of the drama, where the teachers train their courses with their drama and art skills. With this creative drama education, children can improve their artistic and drama skills, so they can think more creative and they are more active in their social lives. So, they can gain real experiences with making art and drama events. Teachers need to help their students in improving drama skills. With this way, students can show their theatrical performances, too. Then, both students and teachers can create a creative enterprise and active participation together, and teachers can see students’ artistic skills. Because the arts are creative by their nature, students can involve in the actual creation of drama by this way. These skills improve students’ social and entrepreneurship skills together. The majority of theorists working on the notion of creativity agree that at its core creativity must include some element of novelty or originality.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
-To improve students’ art and social skills
-To gain them active and entrepreneur skills of life
-To create an active participation to the artistic and creative drama
-To improve students’ theatrical performances
-To reach the art standards of 21st Century

CONTENT AND METHODOLOGY:
The main aim of the course is to help teachers to understand the importance of art education and improve their social and art school lessons and art project in school, besides with the creative thinking skills. Participants will be familiarized with the impact they can have on children by learning art and drama in a fun and innovative, yet educational manner. They will learn how to boost children imagination and natural gift of questioning, by implementing artistic way of thinking and theatrical methodology in their work. As our goal is also to help children to find ways to make drama education a fun pathway to children school life. In addition, and a precious tool in their educational street and life.

METHODS: Lectures, exercises, discussions, teamwork, role-playing, study visits

COURSE TOPICS:
Artistic conventional skills of children
Drama skills
Creative thinking and its combination with art and drama
Socially involvement
Self-reliance and expressing skills of students of their own

PREPARATION:
After confirming registration, participants will be informed about the details of the course (arrival, daily program). Participants will be able to introduce themselves and bring a few examples of routines and practices that they apply to their teaching.

Module3: Teachers’ gaining experience with the use of creative drama method in educational processes

-Learning Drama as a Social Inclusion Tool (Refugee Integration, Child Abuse, Child Labor, Special Needs etc.)
-Learning storytelling and tale-based drama

4TH DAY:

-Learning how to use this education as a preventing tool for bullying of peers in schools
-Learn how to use drama and art with combining creative skills and thoughts

CERTIFICATIONS: At the end of the course; Participants will take ”Certificate of Participant”, ”Europass Mobility Certificate”, ”Staff Mobility Agreement‘‘ and BlueCore International Academy Invoice certificates
