Let's do it Outside: Create Unforgettable Learning Experience With Outdoor Methods and Flipped Classroom

Rating: 0/5

SUMMARY
In the Innovative Creative Teaching (I.C.T.) course we would like to demonstrate the usefulness of flipped classroom methods, field work, project work, team work, task-oriented activities, learning by doing, experiential pedagogy, and informal learning, etc. With these methods, we want to emphasize the importance of a suitable positive learning environment, namely for the development of the personal potential of the individual in the learning process, of both the student and teacher. We use modern technology only as one of the tools.
The classical method of providing information is replaced at the seminar with methodical approaches that encourage creativity, critical thinking, motivation and self-initiative in all subjects. Practical examples in everyday situations of the urban environment will be shown. Adventure education, however, can only be expressed in the natural environment. Work in the field will be such an important component of the seminar, which will adapt to the wishes and abilities of the participants, similar to their work environment.
Participants will receive useful materials and learn about methods they can use in their everyday work environment. At the seminar participants will:
- Get hands-on materials of the methodology with practical examples
- As participants, determine outcomes for professional progress
- Prepare the outputs of the seminar (how they will use the knowledge at work)
- Anticipate the impact for continued use and professional personal development
- Do a project about the seminar (drama play, video, etc.)
