Course Description
This course has been created for teachers who want to learn more about managing an effective and up to date classroom that encourages participation and engaged learning using the latest techniques.
Through interactive activities, participants will learn how to promote a student-centred learning environment. Student-centred methods have been proven to be superior to the traditional teacher-centred approach to education. Student-centred methods sustain both students’ autonomy and cooperation. They also facilitate short and long-term memory, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, self-confidence and motivation.
By the end of the course, participants will not only have acquired more knowledge about student-centred approaches, but they will also be able to take away ideas about practical, innovative solution to apply in their classrooms.

The title of the course was Student-Centered Classroom: Teachers as Promoters of Active Learning. The course was very well in the theme in my opinion. We got a good insight into the approaches in this field (cooperation, communication, group work, flipped clasroom, tiering, creativity...).The best thing was those many activities and games/plays we had. Nearly all of them are suitable for an actual useage in a normal classroom. Our course teacher used several diffferent activating teaching methods and it made the good impact even better. On the other hand, the participants made the communication and all the discussions very fruitfull by charing their experiences, teaching methods they use and what there is in their national curriculum concerning the theme. The course provider was fully professional and everything went smoothly.
