ERASMUS+: Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) (CY)

The course was very well organized and structured. The facilities were very good and all the suport given to the trainees was exceptional. The trainer managed the training very flexibly according to the target audience. It always gave the opportunity for the exposition of ideas and doubts and the exchange of experiences between the diferent graduates. The learning atmosphere was exceptional. the approaches were clear and efficient. there were classes inside and outside the classroom, wich in the case of the subject of the course makes perfect sense. My experience in this course was excellent. All very well organized and excellent struture and trainer.

The course aimed to equip educators with the tools and knowledge on how to incorporate sustainable development in education. Making the shift in education towards valuing sustainability is essential in terms of raising generations that will take action and be the driving force for environmental integrity, economic viability and present as well as future generations with the respect to cultural diversity. The course enabled learners to address present and future global challenges constructively and creatively, and to create more sustainable and resilient communities. The course provider "DOREA" in Limassol was well organised and offered a pleasant learning atmosphere with competent teaching staff.

Der Kurs war insgesamt gut strukturiert und bot zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum Austausch mit den anderen Teilnehmern. Durch den Austausch erhielten alle Teilnehmer einen Eindruck darüber, wie bestimmte Themen in anderen EU-Ländern behandelt werden und gedankliche Anstöße, was man vielleicht an der eigenen Schule ändern könnte. Allerdings lag der Schwachpunkt des Kurses darin, dass der Kurs zu etwa 80 Prozent aus diesen persönlichen Austauschgesprächen bestand, was meines Erachtens etwas zu viel ist. Ich hätte mir mehr Informationen von Seiten der empfangenden Organisation gewünscht.
