School management and Leadership: new strategies

Educational management has to do with the administration of schools whereby human and material resources should be supervised, planned and organized effectively. Motivating staff and enhancing productivity should also be initiated by the school leaders.
The main aim of this course is to familiarize teachers with knowledge and skills required for managing schools.
Leadership has a vital role to play in creating the conditions for effective schools. Participants are expected to be familiar with some basic skills of transformational leadership. The course does not apply only to school principals. All the members of the school system should be involved in Educational Management in order schools to work effectively.
