Empowering Literacy and Critical Thinking Through Arts - 10 Days Course in Barcelona
This course is for all those who would like to be able to facilitate meaningful interactions with the works of art and engage their learners in open-ended inquiry for development of critical thinking as well as to use art as stimulus for development of literacy skills. The course will focus on Paolo Freire’s approach to teaching literacy through arts. Some other tools used will consist of project work, study visits, workshops, writing assignments, reflection and evaluation.
