Inclusive Schools action plan – InScool
Image: InScool Project
The InScool methodology is designed to flexibly guide schools through the start of a journey towards inclusion, improving personal and academic outcomes for all children and young people by focusing on their access to – and participation in – quality, relevant education.
The EU-funded InScool project started in 2019 with the goal to set up an Inclusive Schools action plan and empower schools across Europe to adopt inclusion practices. It aimed to integrate young people with diverse backgrounds into the heart of their community, helping them to develop a strong sense of both self and togetherness. Working together with school leaders, teachers, advisors, psychologists, parents and policymakers, the project created a ripple effect across the whole school community and supported the creation of an action plan to deliver inclusion strategies to European schools. The main output of InScool is the Education Pack of Inclusive Schools.
