Hi, I am the contact person of my school for the Erasmus+ project. I'm searching other schools interested in jobshadowing, both to visit our school and to host our teachers in their institutes, in a KA1 project, in order to start new collaborations and partnership for the next years, for staff and students. Our school is located in Prato, Tuscany, about 10 km from Florence. It's a technical and industrial institute with more than 130 years of history. We have been accreditated for the years 2021-2027. We have six fields of study: Fashion and Textile, Electronics, Mechanics, ICT, Mechanical Energy, Chemistry. For each field of study and specific subject we have many different labs. Recently we have started a very important project involving all the fields of study in a transversal teaching, leaded by the Fashion and Textile department. We have 17 teachers for students with special needs, a field in which we are strong and motivated. We also have an evening course for adult students in Mechanics and ICT. What we search: Upper secondary schools with fields of study referred to industry, ICT, mechanics, chemistry, electronics and textile; Schools which have developed strategies for the inclusion of students with special needs and foreign students; Schools with a strong aim in ICT; Schools linked with the world of jobs and plans to involve students in learning and finding a job; Schools with experience in Erasmus projects and students exchanges. What we offer: jobshadowing in our classes and labs with our teachers. In our host school there will be the possibility to learn about the Italian school system, new methodologies of teaching, the history of our school, the fields of study of our institute, the way we realize inclusivity, the possibility to visit factories and companies that collaborate with our school; the opportunity to visit Florence together with other famous towns in Tuscany (Siena, Pisa, Lucca...) Visit our website: www.tulliobuzzi.edu.it If interested write me to erasmus@tulliobuzzi.edu.it

Hi, my name is Ivana Gradečak and I teach English at Primary school Ivanovec which is in the north of Croatia. I am very interested in your offer. Seing how you teach and what methodoloy you use with your students would be very useful for us. We are a small school with little experience in Erasmus projects (so far 2 have been approved), but we are very eager to learn and have first-hand experience on different teaching models. Our students and teachers are very ecologically aware but there's always room for improvement. Since last year we've had an open classroom but we are very new in this field. Also, our school garden has been awarded twice as the best traditional school garden in Croatia. We could share ideas from which, I am sure, both of our schools would benefit. My email is ivanagradecak1@gmail.com If you would like us to visit your school, please contact me since I have never done K1 projects and I am not sure how many teachers can participate. Thanks in advance and have a good day! Ivana, Croatia

My name is Rebeca Burdeț. I'm the school principal of Scoala Gimnaziala Nr.1 in Rebra, a small village situated in the heart of Transylvania. This village is surrounded by the Rodna Mountains and is very close to Colibita (the sea from the mountains) and Via Transilvanica a mountain hiking trail. These places, of a rare beauty, are, unfortunately very polluted. The school has three cycles of education: preschool, primary and secondary. It is a countryside school, but is very modern. It has IT modern equipment. I, sort of, fought for the quality of educational act in this school, because I strongly believe in a positive school culture in order to bring improvements and growth. I think that "Job Shadowing" it is our answer for our needs. By participating in this programme, I strongly believe that ourselves, the teachers, will be able to grow and improve the quality of the education in our school. Our school works together as a team in hope to maintain continuous improvement and nurture a culture of inclusive education where each individual feels valued. We develop partnerships with parents and our community in order to educate everybody about respecting the nature and together against pollution... and develop a cleaverand healthier lifestyle defined by green behaviour. rebeccaburdet@gmail.com

Dear colleagues, my name is Haido Drakou. I am writing on behalf of my school, 21st Primary School of Evosmos, Thessaloniki, GREECE. Our School is located in the west side of Thessaloniki city, an area where many people with low annual income and from different cultural origins inhabit. The previous years some migrants added to the permanent population of our municipality (Evosmos) and as a result it has been created an intercultural mixture. We work with 142 students 6 to 12 years old, from 5 different nations. Almost 20% of our school population has migration background and 5% are refugee children. In 21st Primary Public School of Evosmos there is an urgent need to promote the European idea through European projects and there is also a need to promote intercultural skills among teachers and students. We don΄t have any experience with EU projects for students with migrant background. I am writing because we are interested in visiting your school and learning from you through job-shadowing. This is our first Erasmus + project and our focus on our current project is inclusive and intercultural education and how to deal with diversity in the classroom. We thank you in advance for your kind attention and will be looking forward to receiving your answer. For any other information please let us know. Kind regards, Haido Drakou, Computer Science teacher, e-mail: haido@sch.gr

Dear Madam/Sir I hope you could help me. I am a teacher at a high school in Pescara, Italy. This year my school has obtained accreditation, for the period 2021-2027, with a KA1 project, whose core is the creation of a CIVIC CENTER. We have managed to obtain a building seized from the mafia so we would like to create a center where students, at risk of dropping out of school or deviance, can come together to activate an experiential, cooperative and collaborative didactic activities. The main objective is the creation of a sustainable community in which students can become active, critical, responsible and aware citizens, overcome inequalities, improve the quality of their life through socialization, recreational and theatrical activities as well as providing support to families. To realize this project, a one-week Job Shadowing activity is foreseen at a European organization that has already created a similar model, to reproduce it in our school. I would be really grateful if you could suggest me some information, references or websites of some schools, social centers or associations in order to contact and visit them, observe the activities carried out during the day and collaborate with the staff so we can bring the experience back to our school. THANK YOU very much for your help Prof. Maria Partemi "Tito Acerbo" Technical Institute via Pizzoferrato, 1 Pescara - Italy mpartemi3@gmail.com
