Within the scope of Kocaeli Provincial Directorate for National Education’s Erasmus+ Accreditation Program, which has an approval from Erasmus+ accreditation by Turkey National Agency, I am writing to you with the hope that we will be able to collaborate on Key Action 1, school education, and on the job training. I am Gamze ÇELEBİ, the coordinator teacher of the project titled "BLENDING THE STEAM AND GAME-BASED LEARNING APPROACH IN PRESCHOOL TERM". Our institution is Yeni Turan Kindergarten, which is an official kindergarten institution, serving 195 students between 3 to 6 years old, with 14 teachers and 2 administrators in Izmit, Kocaeli. You can review our website to get more information about our school. https://yeniturananaokulu.meb.k12.tr/ We would like to observe the work you do in your institution regarding STEAM and Game Based Learning Approach as part of the mobility of on-the-job observation that we plan to achieve which are actively included in education systems in Europe, and we want to play a role in the dissemination of these approaches in our country by transferring the experiences we will gain as a result of these observations to our colleagues. We think that we can learn by observing how the STEAM education approach is practiced in the pre-school which students can actively participate in the learning process and where the learning process is supported by doing and experiencing which is included as a principle. Two pre-school teachers from our institution will participate in the ERASMUS+ On-the-Job Observation Mobility. The mobility will be planned for 10 days between January 2022 and February 2023, and the Project will be financed by ERASMUS+. After reporting and sharing the experiences with our colleagues that we will gain from our observations in your institution, we will try to adapt them to our training programs and give you feedback on the work. If the offer is acceptable for you, we would like to visit your institution to carry out the mobility of On-the-Job Observation and observe your studies in this field. Also, we can work with you in the fields of ERASMUS+ teacher mobility, on-the-job observation, cooperation and project partnership, and we can host you at our school. Hoping that we can continue our good cooperation, we request that you accept our offer and reply to us as soon as possible because the DEADLINE FOR THE CONSORTIUM MEMBERS OF THE KOCAELİ ERASMUS + ACCREDITATION PROGRAM IS APRIL 23, 2021. Best regards, Gamze ÇELEBİ, coordinator teacher and Deputy Principal of Yeni Turan Kindergarten Address: Hacı Hasan Mah. İnönü Cad. Gürsoy Sok.
