Every year, the Erasmus+ programme funds thousands of school projects and professional development activities for teachers and other school staff. The online course Erasmus+ funding opportunities for schools has been designed to help head teachers, teachers and project leaders get started on the often demanding path to find Erasmus+ funding and to make their project ideas a reality.

Erasmus+ call 2019 is launched

European projects are an excellent way of not only boosting the professional development of the staff but also engaging the whole school community. In a 2017 international study, 90% of the teacher respondents said that Erasmus+ mobility made them more open to changes and innovations, and 94% said it deepened their understanding of other cultures. They also confirmed that, at school level, they felt the community was becoming more open and tolerant.

The Erasmus+ programme offers two principal funding options that schools can benefit from: Learning mobility of individuals (Key Action 1) and Strategic Partnership projects (Key Action 2). This year’s application deadlines are 05.02.2019 for Key Action 1 and 21.03.2019 for Key Action 2. Find all the information on the new call on the Erasmus+ website.
