The European Day of Languages was celebrated on 26 September, and you are still in time to read the latest Practice article about the European Language Label and the latest Expert article "Beyond English: (other) languages (also) take you further".

Are you interested in competence-based learning and the key competences for 21st century citizens? Discover the Practice article on the KeyCoNet project and the Expert article by Olivier Rey from the French Institute of Education.

A practical guide for school leaders on the Erasmus+ programme has been published. The guide is available in English and will be soon available also in German, French, Italian, Spanish and Polish.


Find out the three specialised tools that help schools and teachers take full advantage of Erasmus+ funding opportunities: a Course Catalogue, a Mobility Opportunities search tool, and a Strategic Partnerships search tool. The Erasmus+ tools are available in 23 languages.


Discover a new section which includes teaching materials created by the EU institutions and EU-funded projects. This month's featured resources are Back2School campaign by the Insafe network, Linguago! game for children, and the 'United in diversity' booklet on the European Union.


All you need is to log in and you can take part in the website community: comment on your favourite articles, and share them on social media, tweet with #EdGateway, and discover interesting videos! Invite also your colleagues to join! Don't forget to follow us through the eTwinning channels in Twitter and Facebook.
