METHODOLOGY
We tailor the working methods based upon participants’ needs, attitudes and professional profiles in order to ensure high productivity, effectiveness and transferability into practice.
The standard methodology is highly practical and participative with hands-on approach that comprises real-job examples, case studies examination and simulations. We embrace collaboratively working methods that foster mutual learning and cooperation among participants. Our focus is on learning outside the classroom in an interactive and international environment. The pedagogical methods that we use are based upon experiential training, group and peer activities, learning-by-doing and best practices’ exchange.
During the course the participants will be working in groups thus having the chance to learn by each other as well as having feedback by fellow teachers, trainers and educators.
Morning Wrap-up and brief daily evaluations are foreseen to ensure quality of education and to adapt the learning programme to participants' needs better tailoring the education.
Free time has been planned to give to the participants time to assimilate the concepts, develop further the group activities, ask trainers for further clarifications, etc. Networking and cooperation among participants will be supported and stimulated at each stage.
We organize optional social, networking and cultural activities in order to give participants the opportunity to know Italy as well as to exchange best-practice and establish professional cooperation and links.
The training and staff team is multinational thus giving a full European dimension to the course.
The class-based course is completed by the support of the E-learning portal that is a great support both before and after the course in Italy.

Course was well organised, the preparation period for courses was fluent, course providers very responsibly took in care our question during the preparing phase for courses. We were very satisfied about the courses. A lot of collaborative working methods were embraced that foster mutual learning and cooperation among participants. The teaching material was based upon experiential training, group and peer activities. So we really had the possibility to improve our soft skills and we mastered concrete tools and activities that we can use with pupils and educational staff. We had a young but very competitive lecturer - Giulia Zambon. Thank you for this opportunity.

It was a very well organised course with a lot of useful material taught in a very interesting way through teamwork, games and interaction! Giulia was an excellent communicator before, after and especially during the course. Well balanced with the information we got from the course were the interesting cultural activities that helped the team to create stronger bonds and to come closer to the italian mentality. In total, it was a great experience!

Excelente course with great sessions. It was my first Erasmus + KA1 Mobility experience and I have to say I loved every moment, unforgettable! The group sessions were very productive and with a balanced flexibility for group visits and networking. The sessions weren't only theories, we had many ativities, simulations, wrap-ups and exercises that stimulated our team building, public presentations, leadership, comunication skills, plus a series of new tools to use in every day life. Everyone at IFOM was great, before the course Giulia and during the course Francesca, but especially Yana, the trainer, Lilly, the trainer assistant and of course Viola, our guide in the city visits. Congratulations IFOM for your professionalism and hospitality. Thank you!

This course was an unforgettable teacher training experience! One of the very best Erasmus plus KA1 Mobility activities, distinctable for its well balanced flexibility and high standards of organisation and professionalism! Yana, the trainer, Lilly, the trainer assistant, and Francesca, the officer were a great team. A rich file of seminar material has been prepared for us to use for reasons of diffusion. Finally, the networking aim they worked on was extremely successful. Erasmus plus KA2 Projects may well be a hopeful result! Keep up with good work IFOM!

One of the sequences that seemed interesting to me was that each new course day started with a wrap-up, a review of the previous day’s information, involving teamwork and brainstorming, writing the information on a flip chart, and the presentation was done by either a leader or by the individual members of the team, presenting their own contribution. Working and decision making at team-level increases the group cohesion and the efficiency of the review. Applied in class, teacher-student communication is no longer based on the questionnaire, on the individual answer, but each pupil has the chance to make a contribution, however small, to speak in public and feel successful. The result will be that student’s motivation for performing school activities increases. On the other hand, the source of information is not the teacher solely, but also the other students. Shyness, fear of failure vanish, and a pro-learning attitude develops. Part of the dissemination will consist in the elaboration of a teacher's guide, precisely to capitalize, not only on the theoretical notions acquired during the course but also on the extraordinary practical activities chosen by the mentors.
